There is a big notice now up on the notce board Nathan provided.
It says:
In jeans and a T-shirt, for once (the fishnets are only for fighting), Dinah stands back and admires her handiwork.
Yeah, it's good to feel needed.
It says:
Martial Arts Training.
All levels welcome. Intermediate and advanced to start at dawn by the bunker. Beginners at 3pm every afternoon. Everyone welcome.

"Well, I trained a lot. A lot a lot, with a lot of good people."
no subject
"Why do these always start at dawn? What do you people have against sleeping in?"

She's not as bad at name dropping as she used to be, honest!

Then she grins. "I bet there's some surprises I have, though."
no subject
Sure, it's true, but pointing out that she's a girl so of course she has some surprises in store is probably not a good idea.
"I'll be in your audience next time," he promises instead. "Or at least in the training group. I'm getting too used to Steph, need to train with some more people."
no subject
"It's important to do that," she agrees. "You never know who you'll be up against and what they can do.
"So what's your style?"

No super-powers, no crazy monkey-like leaping abilities.

Smirking, she nods towards his boomerang.
"You want to try me against that?"
no subject
And turns back to her with a grin.
"Sure."
He hasn't forgotten Steph's cockiness with her batarang - when he totally pwned her, HA!
no subject
She's never cocky - her confidence is entirely well-founded.
"Most people in my world have a signature weapon or style. That seems to be yours."

"Inuit-style culture, right?" Dinah hazards. "Ice-floes? Hunting for fish and aquatic mammals?"
no subject
A little disturbed, but not surprised.
"Something like that," he says. "That's what it was like where I was born."
no subject
"I've travelled a lot," she explains. "No reasons for our worlds not to have parallels."
no subject
Just by looking at him.
(he's really only half-disturbed - the other half is... kind of flattered.)

Learning new fighting skills from the inuits. Dinah's been around.

"No idea what Alaska is, though."

"What're Magog?"
