There is a big notice now up on the notce board Nathan provided.

It says:

Martial Arts Training.
All levels welcome. Intermediate and advanced to start at dawn by the bunker. Beginners at 3pm every afternoon. Everyone welcome.

In jeans and a T-shirt, for once (the fishnets are only for fighting), Dinah stands back and admires her handiwork.

Yeah, it's good to feel needed.

"Wrote the book on stubborn hothead," Dinah informs her, defensive over Oliver's position as stubbonest hothead in the world.

"And we have a few coming through the League."

"Yeah? Some of my teammates are the same."

Kate then remarked, "I still haven't seen any of them here. Do you miss the life too?"

"Miss it?"

Dinah shakes her head.

"I'm still living it. My girls came through with me so we're running rescue attempts. And there's still crime to solve in Metropolis."

Kate brightened at that, and was clearly surprised.

"...You are? There is? Do you need any more help?"

"Really not my call," Dinah admits. "You'd want to talk to Oracle - Barbara. She's around here sometimes, in a wheelchair."

She sagged a little, and then considered, "Well, can I get a message to her? Something on the notice board, anything? I think we briefly met once, but that was months back."

"I'll talk to her," Dinah says. "She's spending a lot of time in Metropolis, now, but she's easy enough for me to contact."

"Thank you, I'd appreciate it. Haven't been able to go out on patrols since the war back home had started, and then I came here."

She then added, "There's one other thing, I met someone here. I can go to Metropolis, but I want to talk to him about it. And been trying to see about a trip to Sherwood forest in England for him. He...He needs it."

"Will?"

Dinah grins, and nods.

"I'm sure we'd be happy to take you both."

Pay no attention to the color in her cheeks right now.

"Yes, Will. You know him then? And thank you."

"I met him once," Dinah says. "He's a good kid, I like him. You guys probably deserve a vacation."

She nodded, "Him especially, and he is. Very good and sweet." So does she for reasons here and from back home, but she wasn't going to bring it up.

"I got that impression."

Grin. Grin grin grin.

She eyed her a little.

"...Did he mention me?"

Grin!

"Might've done."

OK, then she laughs. "Nothing incriminating, if that's what you're worried about. Maybe hopelessly sappy, but nothing incriminating."

"No, I know he's nicer than to say anything bad." Soft smile. "And he's old fashioned romantic, not that surprised."

"He's Will Scarlett," points out the one-time owner of the Sherwood Florist.

"Old fashioned everything."

She nodded, "Well, of course. But in a good way. He's respectful, and doesn't mind that I can hold my own in a fight."

"Hold your own?"

Dinah's smile is faintly challenging.

"Or kick butt?"

She smirked right back.

"The second one. Definitely."

"Gotta love it when guys call it 'holding your own' when they really mean 'land them on their ass.'"

"That whole 'male pride' of theirs," Kate shook her head and laughed.
