So you might have noticed there's a big ol' robot parked out back of the bunker at the Cooper farm. It's large and green and looks very battered.

Approach it, and one of two things happens.

Either you came during the day, and Val Bell is sitting on its head with a good book and a bowl of apples, or you came during the evening or night and it is apparently deserted. 'Apparently' being the key word.

What'll it be?

Sigh. "Pretty much."

Cuddle.

"You okay?"

Cuddle.

"Kinda sorta."

Marley's not good with feely stuff.

But he tries to seem vaguely comforting, even if he doesn't say anything.

Between the two of them, they make up about a third of a normal good-with-feely-stuff human being!

If nothing else, she appreciates the cuddles, and the sentiment behind them.

Clearly they should find Steve and get him to cuddle, too.

Between the three of them, they'll have more than enough good-with-feely-stuff!

Countdown until somebody makes a cuddling-with-twins joke in three...

"How long do you need to watch the robot for, then?"

"All day. And then all day again tomorrow. And et cetera. Except in the mornings, 'cause I go to Dinah's combat training thing. He says he'll let me off the hook as soon as he's found somebody else to watch the damn thing, but apparently it's worth three armies and if the wrong fuckhead gets their hands on it we could be looking at a post-apocalyptic dictatorship."

Beat.

"I'm paraphrasing heavily here."

"Three armies of people or three armies of robots?"

"Three armies of people in robots. IIRC."
