Will's feeling rather happy as he eats his lunch in the Great Hall and just keeps randomly grinning.

"Want t'go to Sherwood and spar, then?"

Garo's logic works thusly - Eventually he will see what Will is like in Sherwood. He imagine that that'll bring up a lot of resentment and bitterness. Stress-relieving violence is a good way of relieving resentment, he feels, so sparring on his first visit to Sherwood is a good idea.

There's an odd flash of Green in Will's eyes,

"Aye, tis 'ome."

"Spar there, then? I'll bring some of the healy-potions."

"Aye, sounds a good plan. Though na for too long since Kate 'asna been feelin 'too good."

"Aye, wish I knew more o''ow to aid 'er."

"Don't think there's anything y'can do at this point except make her rest." Garo shrugs, rummaging around in a nook underneath a table and producing several green vials. "Lead the way."

"That's na goin' to be easy though."

Will grins and starts heading towards the cabinet.

Garo grins back, following.

The door opens onto a Green and ancient forest where a light misting rain is falling. Will seems to fit better here as his steps grow quiet.

Garo watches him, a little, but mostly takes in his surroundings.

"Know any good, clear spots?"

"Oh aye, should be a clearin' this way."

And then Will sets off into the Green.

Garo follows, managing to keep up with little difficulty.

Soon they reach a clearing,

"E'er used a staff?"

"Not really."

"Care to learn?"

"I'll take one and try it out. Don't be surprised if I toss it aside halfway through the spar, though," Garo grins, pulling off his shirt and setting it on a branch.

"Fair 'nough."

Will grins and starts cutting himself a staff.

Garo starts cutting himself a staff, imitating Will's movements.

Soon Will has a good staff and smiles as he twirls it before facing Garo,

"Tis quite simple an best thing 'bout a staff is ye can attack an defend at the same moment."

"Okay," Garo raises his own staff, a little, before moving forward to attack Will.

Will responds quickly and with ease, he's missed using a staff.
