Eden is feeling like she's going to break someone's neck.
Which explains why she's sitting on a couch in the Cooper's living-room, frantically writing in a notebook. A glass of Orange Crush sits on a coaster (Eden is trying to be a polite guest) rests on a table nearby. Now that she got some supplies from her ill-fated trip into Smallville, she's got foundation to cover her sunburn and is wearing mascara and soft purple eyeshadow.
Oh, how does writing in a notebook explain anything about Eden's mood? See, this is one of the less-destructive ways Eden avoids her issues.
Conversation also helps, and wouldn't go amiss - she'll stop writing and look up if anyone enters the room.
