Aang takes a step backwards as a huge smile spreads across his face. Is he seeing this right? The box infront of him is about the size of a market stall, painted red and blue and has the words 'WHAK - A - MOLE' emblazoned across the front. Nine holes cover the top and a hammer lies on the floor next to it.

The airbenders in the northern temple used to send currents of air through the walls to flush out the rat moles that hid there. Then they'd catch them. Could this game be similar? Aang builds up a ball of air, floats it up, the slams it forward into the rectangular slot on the front. A lot of things happen at once.

Nine brightly coloured moles shoot out of the top, smashing into the lights and bouncing off the ceiling. Aang propels himself after them, trying to catch as many as he can. In the chaos he doesn't notice the explosion of shiny, metal coins that pour out of the back on the machine.

First there was the herd of flying bison, passing over Metropolis. They were mostly hidden by the clouds, and very high up, but if you squinted at the right moment, you could make them out.

Then came the Avatary-Group-Thing. Metropolis is sort of a new experience for most of the Avatary-Group-Thing.

Clearly, this means there must be exploration! For knowledge and experience and stuff.

Thus, having arrived at Metropolis after a long journey, the group have split up to explore the city - Katara and Sokka have gone one way, Roku another, and Aang another.

Roku is going to Waterbend a massive wave to ride out of here any minute.

Any minute.

See? See that there little ripple? That's a massive wave in motion. Yep. After only three days, Roku's going to escape this tiny island in the middle of the sea.

No, really, he is. The frustrated growling as he's unable to get a wave to go higher than his knee means nothing, really. Nothing at all. It's totally not really lucky that there's enough food to last him two more days.

Really.

Incidentally? Those little blasts of fire are an expression of his joy at being able to escape. Not frustration or anger. Of course not.
