not-a-dragon.livejournal.comShay does most of his work during the night. This time, he decided to make the fauna a little more diverse.
There's a lake, relatively small as far as lakes go, a little way from the fort and quite far from the Cooper household. It's filled with fish, and there are a few ice islands on it, only small ones. Possibly this isn't the most important thing.
The most important thing is that there are now a dozen penguins, four polar bears and six reindeers roaming around. They all seem to have devices attached to their ears, like little clips.
Long tried to convince Shay it was a bad idea. But in the end, the whinier of the two personalities won out, and Long was forced to cobble together machines to remove the bears' interest in eating people, penguins, reindeer or kraken. All other animals, it seems, are fair game, as the fish are learning to their dismay.
Shay is nowhere to be seen. Possibly he's away scouting the Arctic and Antartic regions for more animals.
