It took Sam about half an hour after he'd left the farm to realize he'd probably overreacted. And in the true fashion of Winchesters men everywhere, he decided the best course of action would be to wait until his brother forgot about it before going back.

He'd driven in a random direction before realizing there was nowhere to go. Maybe you're catching him on a pitstop out of Smallville, in some small town where it may or may not have been wise to stop. Or maybe you waited long enough to find him in Metropolis again, raiding book stores.

Eventually, he's got to find something useful. Right?

Jack wasted no time. He has mourning and sadness and despair to feel over the death of Iris, but firstly, and rightly, he has vengeance to carry out.

He turns his black truck around and heads from the edge of Kansas towards the Cooper Farm, not because he has anyone in mind, or even because he wants in anyway to see someone he knows in his state of complete broken fury, but because he Read a dragon, and even he's not crazy enough to go after a dragon on his own.
